➊ To start, ensure you have a proper grip on the club. Hold it with your palms facing each other and thumbs pointing down the shaft.
➋ Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, toes slightly turned out and distribute your weight evenly on both feet.
➌ Bend your knees slightly and lean forward at the hips, keeping your back straight and head steady.
➍ Align your body parallel to the target line. Use a club on the ground to check if your feet, hips and shoulders are aligned with it.
➎ Initiate your backswing by turning your shoulders away from the target, while maintaining straight arms and firm wrists.
➏ As you reach the top of your backswing, shift your weight onto your front foot and rotate your hips towards the target to start the downswing.
➐ During impact, ensure your hands are slightly ahead of the clubhead, and most of your weight is on
your front foot.
AFTER IMPACT
➑ Continue your swing by fully extending your arms and rotating your hips and shoulders.
➒ Maintain a smooth and even tempo throughout your swing, avoiding any rushing or jerky movements with the club.
