The third week of Pride Month already? Honey, time flies when you’re fabulous.

But beyond the parties and the parades, this month is about something deeper: showing up for the people who make this place shine.

Drag queens aren’t just performers – they’re protectors of joy, curators of community, and living, breathing art. In Rehoboth, our drag scene isn’t just strong – it’s sacred.

Shoutout to our local legends: Tamia Mykles, Diamond Doll, Magnolia Applebottom, Aura Iris, Roxy Overbrooke, Mona Lotts, Dakota Mykles, Julia Sugarbaker, Janel Collins, Regina Cox – these queens are the reason the sequins stay spinning and the wigs stay high.

Support them. Tip them. Worship them. Because every single night, they’re turning the mundane into the magical.

And remember: Rehoboth might look like a queer utopia – but even here, we have to keep showing up. Not out of fear, but out of love. For ourselves. For each other. For the next generation of messy, magical queer kids who will one day call this town home.

We vote. We dance. We organize between sets. We find strength in glitter and connection in karaoke.

Sometimes it’s resistance. Sometimes it’s just resilience.

Sometimes it’s a drag show that makes you feel seen.

So keep showing up. Lip gloss on, heart open, heels steady.

I see you. I love you. I’m proud to stand beside you.
