Kids’ Bull Run
June 28, Dewey Beach
The Dewey Business Partnership sponsors its annual Kids’ Running of the Bull, a playful, family-friendly version of the famous event. Kids don red and white and dash along the beach with their own costumed “bull,” followed by treats, laughs, and beachside fun.

Starboard Running of the Bull
June 28, Dewey Beach
A beloved Dewey Beach tradition for more than 25 years, the Running of the Bull is a lighthearted parody of the famous Pamplona event – and it’s all for a good cause. The annual fundraiser supports the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company and draws thousands of participants and spectators each year.

The day kicks off at The Starboard with live music, DJs, and pre-run antics. Around midday, the crowd – decked out in white with red bandanas – parades across Coastal Highway and down to the beach. There, they “run” from a giant costumed bull (two people control the iconic bull suit), followed by even more revelry back at the bar. The event also features surprise guests, local celebrity matadors, and many themed drinks to choose from.
