This week in coastal Delaware, we’re not just celebrating Pride – we’re practically wrapped in it like a feather boa made of glitter, allyship, and body-positive dance moves. Whether you’re rocking a rainbow cape or just showing up with an open heart, there’s something for everyone.
WED, JUNE 12: Low Cut Connie with Sug Daniels at Rocking the Docks
5 to 9 p.m. • Free • High-octane rock meets soulful groove on the Lewes waterfront. Friend of the Booth Sug Daniels opens. Bring a chair, but you won’t stay seated.
THU, JUNE 13: Born This Way Drag Show at Milton Theatre
7:30 p.m. • $21.32 – $28.53 • Sequins, sass, and celebration. This Pride favorite is fierce, fabulous, and unapologetically joyful.
THU-SAT, JUNE 13-15: The Magic of Motown at Epworth UMC
Fri & Sat 7 p.m., Sun 3 p.m. • CAMP Rehoboth Chorus breathes life into Motown classics with harmonies that hit the heart.
FRI, JUNE 14: Milton Pride
All day • Free • Pride will be a little different this year. It’s incredibly important that we all show up! Downtown Milton becomes a rainbow-soaked block party filled with music, love, and community.
FRI, JUNE 14: The Wild Hymns at Dogfish Head
9 p.m. to 1 a.m. • Free • Ethereal, folk-tinged, a bit psychedelic. The Wild Hymns will make you lose track of time – in the best way. Great beer, great band, great excuse to stay out late.
Marissa’s Picks
Not much happening at the Booth this week other than our awesome Open Mic and Nate’s Finding the Groove class. But now is the best time to pick up that guitar that’s been gathering dust and take a private lesson! Check out listeningbooth.com/classes for more info.
