These cherished attractions offer plenty of games, rides and water slides.

Looking for fun the whole family can enjoy? These area amusement and water parks provide plenty of activities for an afternoon just steps from the surf and sand. 

Funland 

6 DELAWARE AVE., REHOBOTH BEACH

A staple on the Rehoboth Beach boardwalk since 1962, Funland provides a variety of attractions for the whole family. The little ones can get their start on rides like the Boats, Crazy Days spinning teacups, Fire Engines and the Kiddie Wheel. The rides start to pick up speed with attractions like the Sea Dragon, a swinging ship, and the Gravitron, a spinning spaceship. Patrons looking for a good scream can take a ride through the Haunted Mansion. Visitors can take their best shot at bringing home a prize at the arcade games like Skee-Ball and Goblet Toss. Hours vary through the end of the season on Sept. 10. Tickets are required for rides and games.

Jungle Jim’s

This waterpark transports visitors to the jungle with its river safari theme. Activities include the wave pool, kid’s spray ground, lazy river, activity pool, kiddie pool and water slides. After spending time in the water, families can check out Jungle Jim’s batting cages and mini golf course. The park’s season runs through Sept. 10. Tickets are required for admission. 

Killens Pond Water Park

While visiting Killens Pond State Park, cool off at the waterpark. The attraction features a main pool and baby pool. The Tot Lot includes water rides for the little ones with bubblers, ground water jets, small slides and a poolside waterplay system. The water park also has multiple slides including one 54 feet in the air. Killens’ slides include two speed slides and two spiral slides. The main pool’s zero-depth entrance allows all guests to wade in if they’d rather just relax in the water. The park is open through Labor Day. Tickets are required for admission.  

Midway Speedway Park

This park provides a variety of attractions for the whole family. Midway Speedway includes four go-kart tracks with one specifically meant for the kiddos. White Water Mountain Water Park, located behind Midway Speedway, offers a tropical deck to lounge on when taking a break from the water slides, activity pool, lazy river and Olympic-sized recreational pool. The park also offers Fire Mountain Golf, an 18-hole mini golf course. Other attractions include the Bumper Boat Lagoon and the Spinzone Bumper Cars. Midway will be open through Labor Day. Tickets are required.
