Clear Space Theatre in Rehoboth offers rotating summer shows (“Hairspray,” “Rent,” and “Beautiful: The Carole King Musical”), as well as a cabaret series—nine shows featuring Broadway stars, TV personalities, and more. Dickens Parlour Theatre in Ocean View offers music, magic, comedy, and theater. Having an on-site restaurant allows them to offer dinner and show tickets for selected performances. Freeman Arts Pavilion in Selbyville is a rain-or-shine outdoor venue that holds nearly 4,000 people. They host headliners such as Counting Crows, The Beach Boys, and Buddy Guy, along with cover bands and other entertainment. Bring your own chair or get reserved seating. The Milton Theatre offers cover bands, comedy, musicals, and other fun in a charming, historic building. During the summer, some concerts and events are held outdoors at the Quayside venue (next to the theater). Some seating is available, but most folks bring a chair. miltontheatre.com

Rehoboth Summer Children’s Theatre puts on productions for children in locations across Delmarva. This summer’s production is “Aladdin.” Two adult actors play all the characters in a spirited forty-five-minute production. rehobothchildrenstheatre.org

Second Street Players in Milford are performing The Secret Garden and Villain School this summer. Villain School is a Children’s Theatre production suitable for ages 4 and up. The theater is handicapped accessible.  secondstreetplayers.com
