All Fall Festivals

Formerly known as the Rehoboth Beach Chocolate x, the inaugural Harry K. Foundation Chocolate Crawl will allow participants to taste their way through downtown Rehoboth, where more than 20 restaurants will offer chocolate surprises including candy, baked goods, beer, cocktails and other beverages, ice cream and more before voting for their favorites.

This event, held rain or shine, allows participants to sample goods at St. Michaels’ award-winning restaurants. Each venue will have tasting selections featuring food, drinks and everything Chesapeake Bay related.

Held at Cape Henlopen High School, this event features a wide array of home-related products and services. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., April 15 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., April 16. Gifts and prizes will be given out.

A celebration of Lewes’ Dutch Heritage. More than 100 varieties of tulips will be on display throughout town. A Tiptoe To The Tulips map is available at Lewes Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center in the Fisher-Martin House and will show more than 20 locations where bulbs are planted.

Restaurant week offers a chance to try new food, a new place, or a chance to dine at your favorite place. Reservations highly recommended.

The Center for the Inland Bays hosts this event that kicks off with a Beer & Bivalves Happy Hour from 5 to 6 p.m., followed by the screening of six short films. The festival takes place at Bear Trap Dunes. A raffle will also be held.

Celebrate the amazing warblers, shorebirds, waterfowl and raptors that visit and live on the peninsula. Itineraries combine boat trips, paddling treks, and expeditions on foot when migrating birds are arriving and passing through the peninsula for nesting season.

The 50th annual event begins Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the Living Legends Award Presentation and Dinner from 5:30 to 8 p.m., continues from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday with the Art and Carving Benefit Auction at 2 p.m., and finishes Sunday with events from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This is an international event where carvers, collectors and visitors convene to view more than 1,200 different wildfowl carvings representing more than 150 species from around the world. Competitors from all levels will try to win a portion of nearly $60,000 in prize money. The event also includes seminars, vendors, a Kids’ Corner, a demonstration by the Salisbury Zoo and, new this year, an “Old Bird” Antique Decoy competition featuring collectibles that were carved prior to 1950. Events are held at the Roland E. Powell Convention Center.

Bacon fans will enjoy samples from each restaurant participating in the friendly competition. A welcome event will be held April 21 where visitors can pick up their pass and map which will display their start time and location. Once April 22 is filled, Bacon Fest will continue onto April 23.

On May 8, 1945 the Allies declared victory in Europe in World War II. Fort Miles will celebrate the victory with its annual living history event from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Fort Miles Museum inside Battery 519 at Cape Henlopen State Park. Visitors will see World War II reenactors, military vehicles, artillery demonstrations, barracks life and museum tours.

This event is a festive and relaxing day for women to gather together for a few hours of fun from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Wild Quail Golf & Country Club. General admission includes entrance to the vendor/shopping area, the Talbot’s fashion show, light refreshments, a complimentary signature cocktail, giveaways and an opportunity to win door prizes. VIP ticket includes all general admission events plus a seated lunch, a VIP swag bag and a mini-spa experience.

The largest event in the Mid-Atlantic region specifically for women. Featuring a kick off party Thursday night, Women’s Fest offers workshops, speakers, community service opportunities, art shows, an expo, auction, health screenings, entertainment and sporting events including pickleball, golf, cornhole and the popular fundraising event, Broadwalk on the Boardwalk.

This annual meet and greet event will be held at the Hampton Inn & Suites Ocean City/Bayfront Convention Center. There will be games, food, prizes, music and more.

Join more than 2,500 cyclists of all levels in Bethany Beach for a cycling tour through Sussex County’s beaches, bays, and beyond. Event offers cyclists a 10-mile Coastal Cruise, 30-, 50-, metric century, and century ride on flat terrain. Visit website to register.

Three fun-filled days of kite flying on the beaches of Ocean City, Md. Throughout the festival, there will be exhibitions and demonstrations including stunt and power kite lessons, activities and more.

The ARCA Menards Series East Race will take place at 5:30 p.m on April 28. A-GAME 200 NASCAR Xfinity Series Race is at 1:30 p.m on April 29. and the Wurth 400 NASCAR Cup Series at 2 p.m., April 30.

An annual spring gathering of Doodle dogs in Dewey Beach, the event kicks off with a 5:30 p.m. parade Friday on the Rehoboth Boardwalk. The romp takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the new McKinley Street location. Yoga on the Beach will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday at McKinley Street location. Benefiting PAWS for People.

Hosted by Downtown Milford Inc. from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., the festival serves as a celebration of Arbor Day, the City of Milford’s designation as a Tree City USA and Milford’s role in the ladybug’s designation as the state bug of Delaware.

Held from 1 to 4 p.m., this rain or shine event is sponsored by Purple Parrot with Rehoboth Beach Main Street.

The Lewes Public Library will host an experience that fosters the understanding of Shakespeare and the world in which he lived and wrote. The event features film screenings, lectures and more.

A holistic health and wellness expo that takes place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the UD Virden Retreat Center. Visitors will explore aisles filled with practitioners and vendors to sample a range of holistic services, indulge in mini-sessions of modern and ancient modalities to enhance well-being, connect with experienced and respected holistic practitioners, find unique gifts, and natural products.

Located at Ocean City Inlet Lot and the south end of Boardwalk, this event is a celebration of spring and the upcoming summer season. Four days of food, arts and crafts. Entertainment includes “Shadows of the 60s – a Tribute to Motown’s Super Groups” on May 4; Collective Soul, May 5; Marty Stuart and his Fabulous Superlatives May 6.

Merchants throughout the downtown Rehoboth and Dewey Beach areas offer special promotions, sales and more.

This three-day event provides opportunities for audiences to participate in discussions with local filmmakers after showings.

Visitors can grab bargains from downtown merchants from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day in Lewes’ historic commercial district.

A celebration that kicks off at 5 p.m. includes a parade, fireworks, maypole dancing, tethered hot air balloon rides, moon bounce village, vendors, music, colonial artisans’ village, and historic re-enactments.

A day of live music, wine and brews. The line-up includes Salisbury University Jazz Ensemble, lower case blues, Rodney Kelley Jazz Experience and the Nighthawks.

Join Southern Delaware Therapeutic Riding for the “most exciting two minutes in sports” from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at its Harbeson Road location. The event will include a watch party of the Kentucky Derby, an auction-parade of horses, a best hat and crazy pants contest, raffles, games, hors d’ oeuvres, and drinks (including mint juleps).

Held at the Cape May-Lewes Ferry Terminal, and sponsored by the Lewes Chamber of Commerce and British Car Club of Delaware. Cars manufactured before year 2000 are eligible to enter.

Located on the James Farm Ecological Preserve, the event features vendors, educational exhibits, nature talks, and native plant giveaways from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Attendees can explore hiking trails, wetland storybook walks, and the beach.

Celebrate the international event with local fans and artists from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Ogre’s Grove, 129 Union Street. Everyone gets the first free comic book just for showing up. Additional comics are available by being in costume, making a purchase, and spinning the prize wheel.

Held at the Roland E. Powell Convention Center, 4001 Coastal Hwy., Ocean City, the tournament originated in Ocean City with 40 teams and has exploded in popularity over the years growing to max capacity of 224 teams every year since 2018.

A family-friendly event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with interactive exhibits, environmentally focused crafts, live music, food trucks and free boat rides on the St. Martin River. Located at White Horse Park.

Celebrting Golden Retrievers and their owners, this festival features activities on Dewey’s dog-friendly beaches. Events include parading through Rehoboth Beach on Friday evening, a romp on the beach on Saturday, and a bonfire on the beach Saturday evening.

The Dewey Business Partnership will host the Dewey Beach Arts Festival, an outdoor juried art and fine craft show held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Dagsworthy Street. The festival will also feature a kids art show, free food, a moon bounce and face-painting.

Cape Gazette and neighboring businesses throughout Nassau Commons and the Vineyard is pleased to present a day of community engagement. It all kicks off with a 5K through the vineyard and down the Lewes-Georgetown Trail and continues with an all-day festival. The event includes a beer garden, wine tastings and vineyard tours, a pickleball tournament, live music, food trucks, a petting zoo and pony rides. 5k starts at 9 a.m. and events go to 5 p.m. Non-running festival attendees are encouraged to check the website as many activities are happening at different times. Pre-registration is suggested for the 5k and pickleball tournament. A portion of the proceeds benefit the Harry K. Foundation.

Join Meals On Wheels Lewes-Rehoboth and the top chefs of the area in a night of delicious food and creative cocktails from 6 to 9 p.m., at Ivy, 36 Dagsworthy Street.

Get ready for one of the hottest hot rod shows on the East Coast. Four days full of car shows all around town, as well as entertainment, celebrity appearances, boardwalk parades, vendors and national sponsors.

The weekend begins with the ticketed Friday Preview Party. The exhibit is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m Saturday and Sunday. The raffle of beautiful artwork donated by the artists happens at the end of the show. Lunch items are available for purchase onsite.

This event, held from noon to 6 p.m. at Hudson Fields, features live bands, food trucks, local beers, a Kids Zone with bounce houses, pony rides, petting zoo, a duck pond and more, police aviation and canine, mounted police, scuba team, fire engines and rescue vehicles. Rain date May 21.

The event will fill Rehoboth Beach with tents of original, quality artwork, where RAL member artists will be selling their work. Located at Grove Park, Columbia Ave. and Grove St. from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Rain date May 21.

Every year, the sounds of roaring classics can be heard as they cruise into downtown Berlin. With music in the streets, boutiques, antiques, a wine bar, a brewery, galleries and vintage stores to browse and lots of delicious artisan and locally crafted food at nine amazing restaurants, this is the place to stroll around while enjoying hundreds of 50s, 60s and 70s classic cars of all types. The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in downtown Berlin.

Celebrate Lewes’ maritime heritage and National Maritime Day, which begins at 10 a.m. in Canalfront Park, includes tours, vendors, boat rides, and demonstrations until 3 p.m.

Festivities in downtown Bethany Beach include a luau show, marine science camp, meet-and-greet with town’s lifeguards, police and fire personnel, island music, pirates and mermaids and live sand sculpting, plus a concert with the U.S. Navy Cruisers Band.

The first ever Henlopen Spring Fest brings the community together at Hudson Fields to support local charitable and volunteer organizations. The event includes a car and truck show, a cornhole tournament, a Battle of the Bands, kids’ activities, food, and police and community outreach.

Lewes in Bloom’s annual Garden Plant and Flea Market Sale will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, May 27 at its Schley Avenue warehouse. A variety of flowers and pollinating plants will be available for sale. In addition to plants, Lewes in Bloom will also be selling hanging baskets, pocket planters, merchandise and used garden accessories.

The 10th annual pirate festival, held at Bowers Beach Maritime Museum, includes demonstrations in blackpowder, sword fights, navigation, nautical demos, medical and cooking. Also featuring live entertainment, treasure hunt, young pirate costume contest, craft and period vendors, Captain’s Lady Sunday cruises, and Little Farm petting zoo and pony rides.

Enjoy arts and crafts, kayak rides, themed exhibits, food, live music and more. Festivities will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at both the Lydia B. Cannon Museum and at the Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge.

Kick off the summer beginning at noon and featuring basketball tournaments, music, arts, sneakers, food and a kids area.

Honoring veterans from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in downtown Berlin with music, food, vendors, a yard sale and games.

The convention for the original and premier fan club of the Baltimore Ravens NFL football team. Fully fan supported in the Baltimore regional area.

Bahia Marina will host its annual Blues for DU Bluefish Fishing Tournament. Trophies and prize money will be awarded for first, second and third place with a prize pack for the top junior angler.

Held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Lewes Historical Society Campus, 110 Shipcarpenter St., and presented by the Lewes Historical Society. Dozens of extraordinary sea glass and coastal artists skilled in various mediums including sea glass, driftwood, jewelry, photography, painting, metal and woodwork, ceramics, and sculpture will be offering their works for sale. The festival highlights the historic origins of sea glass, and experts will be available to talk with visitors and help identify the origins of their pieces. Admission to the festival provides access to all LHS properties and museums for the day.

Created by Techno Goober as a way to encourage local children and parents to spend time together outside, the event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon (registration at 8 a.m.) in Milton Memorial Park. As the event grows and gains momentum each year, members of the community and local businesses have continued to generously contribute to the cause, making sure that every child – no matter their financial means – can be involved and enjoy a day of fishing with family and friends.

The event, held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in downtown Bethany Beach, features an array of vendors. This juried craft show is sponsored by the Bethany Beach Cultural and Historical Affairs Committee.

St. Michaels Brewfest will feature more than 70 beers including one off’s, seasonals, collaborations and casks from local, regional and national breweries. This event will take place from noon to 4 p.m. at three locations within easy walking distance of St Michaels: the Old Mill behind Eastern Shore Brewing Co., Foxy’s and The Crab Claw Restaurant.

Featuring strawberry shortcake, fresh strawberries, strawberry wine and more than 40 vendors, this event will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Lewes Fire Station 2.

Children ages 15 and under must preregister to participate in this event. Check-in is at 8 a.m. Fishing will be from 9-11 a.m. Awards and snacks to follow.

Offers include either discounts or prix-fixe menus at restaurants in coastal Delaware. Portion of proceeds to benefit military and first responders.

A full slate of events is scheduled for the week, including an all-girls Led Zeppelin cover band, drag shows and a performance by Suede.

A family-friendly festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., located at Legislative Green Park in Dover, hosted by Delaware Pride.

The 33rd annual Bathtub Races will takes place at 6 p.m. The friendly, yet competitive race is open to anyone who wants to compete. Businesses and sponsors race rolling tubs down Main Street to vie for the Winner-Take-All Trophy.

The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds headline the annual OC Air Show. The event takes place from 13th to 17th Streets, Ocean City. The show will feature the F-35 Lightning II Demo Team.

This outdoor concert, held at G&R Campground, has benefited all sorts of causes, from helping people struggling with medical bills to supporting organizations like Toys for Tots. Bands include Triple Rail Turn, Rocking Country Band, High Noon, lower case blues and JJ Rupp.

Hosted by the Ocean City Fishing Center. A portion of all registration fees go to Women Supporting Women, an independent organization supporting those affected by breast cancer. Wooden classics, vintage race boats, and other antique and Chesapeake Bay-related boats come to the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum for the annual Antique & Classic Boat Festival and The Arts at Navy Point in St. Michaels, Md. Hosted by the Chesapeake Bay Chapter of the Antique & Classic Boat Society (ACBS), this Father’s Day weekend event brings an era of bygone days.

The Cape Artists of Lewes will offering garden-themed artwork for sale from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at its 110 W. Third St. location and will also be offering painting demonstrations.

The car show this year is in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Delaware State Police, and will be held on the museum complex from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. All makes and models of cars are welcome. Visitors should bring lawn chairs (no alcoholic beverages permitted). Rain date is June 18.

Held at Briitingham Farms in conjunction with the Lewes Historical Society, this event is set from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and features colonial interpreters from the Society who will offer demonstrations on sheep, lavender, wool dyeing and spinning. There will also be additional vendors, live music, activities, food, and more.

The Lewes Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau sponsors the 32nd annual Lewes Garden Tour. A self-guided tour of private gardens, the event includes a Garden Market in Zwaanendael Park where vendors will be selling garden-related items during the hours of the tour. Lunch and cold beverages will be available for purchase. Tickets may also be purchased at the Lewes Chamber of Commerce.

The second annual Summer Solstice on the Terrace, held from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Lodge at Truitt Homestead, features an evening of hors s’oeuvres, cocktails and music from Peggy Raley and the True Blue Jazz Band as well as a silent auction, a 50/50 raffle and a wine ring toss. All proceeds support CAMP Rehoboth’s LGBTQ community. Admission includes two complimentary cocktails. All-white attire is preferred but not required.

The Ocean Pines Recreation and Parks Department invites families and friends to join the members of the Ocean Pines Anglers Club. Please bring your own rod. Bait and water will be provided. Participants are also advised to bring insect repellant and water bottle. Members of the Anglers Club, DNR, and other local businesses will offer fishing tips, general fishing information and free fishing items. There will be a drawing for a free rod and reel.

Join organizers for a day of celebrating small, local businesses from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m at Hudson Fields. This event includes a dog adoption, inflatables, a petting zoo, games for children, more than 100 vendors and food trucks. Proceeds to benefit Grass Roots Rescue.

This event will take place at Laurel Farmer’s Auction Market. Family-friendly fun hosted by the First State Antique Tractor Club and the Eastern Shore Region Antique Auto Club of America.

An annual, family-friendly outdoor event from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at George H.P. Smith Park celebrating Juneteenth Freedom Day with live music, history lessons, dance, spoken word, food trucks and more. Hosted by the Lewes African American Heritage Commission. Rain date is June 25.

The Dewey Business Partnership will sponsor its annual Kids’ Bull Run at 10:30 a.m. on Dagsworthy Street. The adult bull run date has not been set as of press time.

A premier kids fishing event at Indian River—one of the best fishing areas on the East Coast. An all-you-can-eat dinner event for the whole family each night, with a free event T-shirt, and door prizes. Benefits the Lyme Disease Association.

A parody of the Running of the Bulls in Pamplona, Spain, the event raises funds for the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company. Dressed in the traditional Pamplona white clothing and red bandanas, participants gather at The Starboard and then run with the “Bull” on the beach.

Sponsored by the Greater Millsboro Chamber of Commerce, the fireworks, music, and family fun start at approximately 9 p.m. at Cupola Park. Rain date is June 25.

In celebration of Independence Day, the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum opens its doors from 7 to 10 p.m. for a night of live music. The St. Michaels fireworks will launch after dusk that evening, with CBMM’s waterfront campus a great venue from which guests can enjoy them.

Exhibitors will feature artwork in a variety of media, including painting, drawing, jewelry, ceramics, glass, metalwork, photography, wood, and fiber.

Celebrate Independence Day in Rehoboth Beach with festivities beginning at 8 p.m. with a live performance at the bandstand. Following is a fireworks display at approximately 9:30 p.m. Depending on weather conditions, fireworks could launch as early as 8 p.m. or later than 9:30.

A Celebration of Independence in the capital of the First State. The event on Legislative Mall includes a parade, music, crafts, vendors, kid-friendly activities and fireworks. ​Line up for parade starts up 4 p.m. with step off at 6 p.m.

Lewes celebrates Fourth of July with old-fashioned games for children beginning at 9 a.m. on Second Street followed later by the Doo-Dah Parade. The annual boat parade starts at 2 p.m. from Roosevelt Inlet. At approximately 9 p.m., fireworks will be launched from a barge in the Delaware Bay off Lewes Beach.

Celebrate the nation’s birthday at two locations with music and fireworks at 9:30 p.m. at the beach at N. Division Street and at Northside Park.

This year’s event is Welcome to the 80s and features fun, food, and music for everyone. The Riverfest takes place in downtown Seaford and is jammed packed with shows, contests, a bike raffle, a car show, a duck dash, a children’s area, a hidden idol challenge, Nanticoke Paddlefest and the annual “Float-In.” The event will include vendors.

This event is sponsored by the Dewey Beach Business Partnership and will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Rehoboth Art League will continue its annual Cottage Tour, which is set for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 11 and 12. Featuring local homes that showcase the best of the area’s art and design, the homes on this year’s tour offer a variety of landscapes, interior and architectural designs, ranging from historically significant to contemporary and sleek. This year’s Cottage Tour Artist is Jean Doran.

Hosted by the Ocean City Fishing Center, the 36th annual Ocean City Tuna Tournament has become the world’s largest tuna tournament with a record payout that eclipsed $1 million in each of the last two years. The three-day event is full of local vendors selling everything from boats, to tackle, to jewelry. The tournament will provide dinner and entertainment for participants and sponsors. Boats of all sizes from ports throughout the East Coast travel to Ocean City to fish this event.

Hudson Fields hosts this benefit for Delaware Hospice from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event features a car show, yard sale and car corral.

Held both days from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Lewes Historical Society Campus, 110 Shipcarpenter St., Lewes. Admission provides access to all LHS properties and museums for the day. Proceeds from the event will benefit educational and preservation programs at the Lewes Historical Society. Featuring new and returning artists from across Delmarva and the Eastern Shore. This year, there will be dozens of talented artisans exhibiting a variety of media ranging from metal work to woodworking. Enjoy live music, food, and a period beverage or cold ale throughout the day.

The 10-day fair features a large midway area with rides, concessions, a demolition derby, free entertainment and livestock displays at the fairgrounds located on South Dupont Hwy., Harrington. M&T Grandstand will feature acts including Lainey Wilson, Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias, Nelly, Riley Green, Vanilla Ice, and others.

This annual tournament benefits the Wish-a-Fish Foundation. Registration is from 6 to p.m., Friday, July 21, with fishing days (1 or 2 of 2) July 22 and 23. Weigh ins: 3 to 6 p.m., July 22-23 at Sunset Marina.

Hosted by Diamond State Merry Pranksters, this annual gathering celebrates counterculture and arts of a diverse variety, featuring Dose Hermanos. The event is a three-day camp out and showcases musicians, artists, crafts and vendors.

The annual show is a juried event and takes place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday. The show includes food, live music, children’s activities, artist demonstrations, gallery exhibits, beautiful gardens, and a Dogfish Beer Garden. The event is held rain or shine.

The White Marlin Open returns for more exciting boats, anglers and plenty of sport fishing. This fishing tournament attracts people from all over the globe, even celebrities. With more than $1 million in prizes, registration is from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Harbour Island Marina and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at South Jersey Marina, Cape May, NJ Aug. 5, and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Aug. 6 at Harbour Island Marina. Fishing begins Aug. 7 and anglers can fish any three days until August 11. Weigh ins daily 4 to 9:15 p.m., Aug. 7-11 at Harbour Island Marina.

A multi-day festival highlighting Southern Delaware beach culture and summer spirit through skim boarding, skateboarding, stand-up paddle boarding, music and art. The main event is Zap Pro/Am World Championships of Skimboarding. The competition attracts more than 100 of the top skimboarders from around the world to compete in Dewey. Music, art, and evening festivities all weekend.

Hudson Fields, Milton. Music festival headlining Milton’s own Jimmie Allen, country music star. Doors open 4 p.m.

Held at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum, the event is a celebration of Chesapeake watermen and their heritage. The event includes a “watermen’s rodeo” boat docking contest, and live music. Steamed crabs, beer, and other foods and beverages will be available for purchase.

A ladies-only billfish release tournament benefiting breast cancer research. The event also includes a 50/50 raffle, a Battle for the Bras competition, a Chinese auction, and vendors.

Held at Winterplace Park, the Wicomico County Fair includes livestock exhibits, competitions, home arts, auctions, the five-foot fry pan, music and local vendors.

The MidAtlantic has continually set the standard for big game fishing tournaments in terms of prize money, hospitality, and conservation. Boat owners, captains and crews come together to compete in this event. Registration: Aug. 20. Available fishing days, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Aug. 21-25. The hot air balloon festival, which will be held at Elevate Fields at Seaside Christian Academy in West Ocean City, will offer food and music and consist of tethered balloons, balloon rides and other activities. There will also be a Balloon Glow Display held at night.

A festival about all things Jeep held annually at the Ocean City Convention Center and featuring VIP Jeep Display, vendors, live music, a Jeep beach crawl, cornhole, music by DJ BK, events and more.

This event features vendors, entertainment, crafts and food. The festival’s signature event, the Great Duck Race on the Broadkill, offers participants the opportunity to win a cash prize. Rubber duckies will be for sale in the weeks preceding and on the day of the event. The ducks will be released into the river on August 26.

From the makers of Star Wars Fest, this family-friendly Hudson Fields movie event from 5 to 9 p.m. benefits the superheroes at Beebe Medical Center.

Held at Delaware Seashore State Park, a kayak course meanders through salt marsh creeks of the park. Launch times are 9 to 11 a.m. Park staff will be stationed on the course to talk about wildlife and local history and will hand out snacks. This year’s event will feature an after-party with food, drink, music and kids’ activities.
