Feeling hot, hot, hot? More like ho, ho, ho! It may be the dog days of summer, but Dewey Beer Co. is bringing some holiday cheer to help beat the heat.
On July 24, they’re hosting a Hot Claus Summer at their Dewey Beach location. Expect a limited (and festive) IPA can release, a can and koozie combo deal, Christmas-inspired glassware, and perhaps even a little Michael Bublé caroling out of the speakers.
If that weren’t enough, Dewey is digging into their vault and releasing something fun from the cellar. That’s right, they’re dropping Santa’s Sticky Buns, a big, barrel-aged stout clocking in at 13% ABV. (I did say it was big.)
“We’re thrilled to bring a little holiday cheer to the summer season here in Dewey,” says Harrison Albert, director of art and propaganda at Dewey Beer Co. “Blending the magic of Christmas with our laid-back beach vibes here in Dewey Beach will make for a festive and fun celebration, even with no snow on the beach,” he adds.
Who needs snow when you can make sand angels instead?
Can’t make it out for the festivities? Or perhaps you’re a scrooge? Not to worry, Dewey has something for everyone this summer. A killer beer lineup is guaranteed.
The Dewey Beach brewpub location has a food menu that’s as diverse as it is delicious. You’ll find dangerously good wings and burgers, as well as some more unique dishes like po’ boys and lo mein. It only makes sense that it was named the best brewpub in the country after winning the USA TODAY Readers’ Choice Awards in 2024.
If less traffic and free parking spark joy in you, check out their Harbeson location. Home to Dewey’s production brewery, you can sip on a Swishy Pants straight from the source. While you’re there, snag a slice from right next door at Pizza Machine, Dewey’s wood-fired pizza concept.
Santa’s milk and cookies can wait … this is a job for pizza and beer.
