The Current is a weekly, socially driven paperzine focused on the people who make the Cape Region the place to be in the summer months and those who call it home permanently.
Formerly known as the Beach Paper, The Current plays on a desire to look under the hood by highlighting the unsung heroes, local trendsetters, athletes, artists, business owners, and trailblazers making an impact on our community. It’s something to be part of, to participate in and interact with — a promoter of good times.
Find the print edition of The Current everywhere free from May 18 to September 7 in its signature yellow courtesy boxes.

Play. Party. Share.
Our dream for this publication is to make our dear readers (you!) as much a part of its voice as our own. We want it to be a reflection of the people shaping our beac area in the summer months. Whether it’s to play or to party – or both, share your experiences with us.
Hashtag #thecapecurrent when sharing your own content on social media for a chance to make it into the print edition or weekly newsletter. You may just find us sliding into your DMs!
